Starting Position

Before putting the brush in your mouth, turn it on by pressing the Power Button. Press once for Speed I (LOW speed) and twice for Speed II (HIGH speed). Once the Power Button is pressed, the LED light will light up. One light indicates the unit is on Speed I, two lights indicates the unit is on Speed II.

The brush handle has been ergonomically designed for ease of use. There are two comfort grips where you place your index finger and thumb to balance and maneuver the brush heads during use. You do not need to grip the handle tightly as the brush will do all the work. You simply guide the brush along the surface of the teeth.

Press the power button then bite into moving bristles with front teeth until you feel the brush massaging the gums .NOTE: DO NOT BITE TOO HARD Biting too hard might damage your brush. Allow your teeth to position the brush, do not force it. All you have to do is “BITE & GUIDE”. Be sure the brush heads do not bump teeth. See “Starting Position” to ensure proper use.

Gently move the brush from your front teeth to your back teeth, guiding the brush along the natural curve of your teeth. Then, gently guide the brush toward the front. It is not necessary to move the handle vigorously back and forth. Let the brush heads do the work. When you first start your 30 Second Smile® toothbrush, on any speed, the brush will run for 15 seconds, then will momentarily change speed to remind you to change to the other half of your mouth.

Turn the brush in the other direction and brush the other side of the mouth using the same procedure. You may find it more comfortable to switch hands.
